I work on a deconvolution problem that arises in radio astronomy when aperture synthesis is used. The incompletely sampled Fourier transform has to be interpolated such that the resulting image fulfills a sparsity assumption. This requires prior knowledge about the brightness distribution. Because of the special image statistics of radio astronomy images, the reconstruction differs from deconvolution algorithms for natural images.
