I am interested in applying tools from mathematics and computer science to questions in cognitive psychology and psychophysics. My PhD is supervised by Felix Wichmann (Neural Information Processing Department at the University Tübingen) and Bernhard Schölkopf. We investigate the human's causal code, specifically we apply algorithms from the mathematical discipline causality to visions task. Our focus is set on the perception of the arrow of time.
I modeled the optics of the human eye with location dependent point spread functions in my master thesis.
Previously, I implemented a Deep Neural Network which detects motion artefacts in MRI data.
